Graphic Design Workshop

This was a lesson in intentional design -- designing to solve a problem. Although all design indirectly solves a problem, this project had to be an answer to a very specific question: How can we better prepare students for the Graphic Design program at Boise State? My answer was to get them started earlier, and provide an opportunity for freshmen to try their hand at design instead of having to wait a year. These biweekly or monthly clinics go over the basics of the most used Adobe tools, and open the floor to questions. This poster reflects the more fun and eye catching elements of design, as well as delivering necessary information in a concise manner. It also gives you something to take home in the form of a little business card with program basics.
